Ideal gearbox model with 2 shafts. With a positive ratio, the left and right shafts rotate in the same direction. To make the shafts rotate in opposite directions, use a negative ratio.
ratio = \frac{T_1}{T_2} = \frac{r_1}{r_2} = \frac{\omega_2}{\omega_1}
