Public Beta 3 (2020.10.04)

Welcome to the Public Beta 3 of SIMBA. There are a few updates that we hope you will like. If you haven’t yet, be sure to download it. The complete list of changes is available here.

Circuit Editor

Subcircuits are now officially supported in SIMBA. Subcircuits are used to simplify schematics by grouping a set of models into a single reusable model. In the current version, subcircuit symbols are created automatically.

Add Connection

Subcircuit Pins can be manually added and removed. When editing a subcircuit, the Pins library is available in the left-hand side Library Explorer.

New Electrical and Control models are available in Beta 3.

Ideal Transformer, 3 Winding

A new 3 Winding Ideal Transformer model is available in the Electrical>Transformer library.

Set-Reset Flip-Flop

A new Set-Reset Flip-Flop model is available in the Control>Logic library.

Zero-Crossing Detector

A new Zero-Crossing Detector model is available in the Control>Discrete library.

Quality of life

In Beta 3, several bugs are corrected and the general stability of SIMBA is improved.
