Nonlinear Current Source (Generic)

Symbol

Description

Nonlinear Current Controlled Source (generic)

The value of the current source is defined by a formula that can involve several voltages and currents. Use V1, V2, ... for voltage variables and I1, I2, ... for current variables. Connect the voltage and current variable pins to other devices in the circuit.

For example:

1
2
- If you connect pin "V1" to a node, the value of V1 will be the voltage at this node.
- "I1" is the current flowing between I1+ and I1-.

The expression can use many different functions and operators. See User-defined Expression for more information about the syntax.

Important

To use the derivative of a voltage or current variable in the expression, use "DDT(X)": DDT(V1) or DDT(I1).

Important

Time and time step are accessible using respectively "TIME" and "DT" in the expression. Number pi is "pi".
