Offline Mode

Users in sensitive environments often work on networks without internet access. SIMBA's default online features (license validation, crash report, update checks) cause issues in these isolated environments.

SIMBA now supports Offline Mode via the SIMBA_OFFLINE_MODE environment variable. When enabled:

  • Works completely disconnected from the internet,
  • Accepts offline license files only,
  • Disables all telemetry and crash reporting,
  • Skips version update checks,
  • Shows clear "OFFLINE MODE" indicators in the UI.

Enabling Offline Mode

Simply set the SIMBA_OFFLINE_MODE environment variable to true.

License Activation

Use the existing "OFFLINE ACTIVATION" workflow:

Step 1: Save license request file

Step 2: Generate license file via your SIMBA account (from a connected machine)

Step 3: Load license file in SIMBA
